Derek Teichert grew up on Cape Cod, MA. He picked up the guitar at the age of 18 and pursued his musical interests further at Berklee College of Music with a degree in songwriting. With an eclectic mix of influences Derek's original works are infused with lyrics that weave issues, emotions, relationships and life in such a way that every listener can find a piece of themselves.
